Starting mental health services with Psychiatry on Demand is a hassle-free process designed for both new patients seeking treatment and those exploring insurance or self-pay options. To START, you can initiate a chat through the website's chatbot, Wendi, our 24/7 virtual front office assistant. During the chat, you'll need to share some necessary details, such as the reason for seeking treatment, your date of birth, your phone number, and whether you have insurance or prefer self-pay. Wendi will guide you through the initial VERIFICATION process if you have insurance. If you plan to subscribe and self-pay, you can review our various subscription plans and enroll for ongoing medication management services.

The next step involves COMPLETING the comprehensive virtual assessment; there's an initial fee of $25, regardless of whether you use insurance or self-pay. Upon check-out, you will be redirected to the assessment enrollment page. After you've completed the assessment, please allow 24 business hours for our provider to review your assessment. Once the provider finalizes the review, we will promptly contact you to SCHEDULE a 40-minute video session with our provider within a few days. During this session, our provider will discuss your diagnosis and treatment plan. Once you've confirmed the medication plan, you'll be asked to sign our medication-education consent forms electronically.

Finally, we will schedule your initial follow-up appointment within two weeks and then monthly. Depending on the provider's recommendations outlined in your treatment plan, you can choose to conduct these appointments via text, phone, or video.
